Global Sources to join the Russell Global and Russell 3000® indexes
NEW YORK, June 17, 2016 – Global Sources Ltd. (NASDAQ: GSOL) is set to join the Russell Global Index and the broad-market Russell 3000® Index at the conclusion of the Russell US Indexes and Russell Global Indexes annual reconstitution, effective after the U.S. market opens on June 27, according to a preliminary list of additions posted June 10.
Indexes provided by FTSE Russell, a leading global index provider, are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for active investment strategies.
Membership in the US all-cap Russell 3000® Index means automatic inclusion in the large-cap Russell 1000® Index or small-cap Russell 2000® Index as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes. Membership in the Russell Global Index means automatic inclusion in the appropriate large-cap, small-cap, all-cap indexes as well as the applicable style, sector and country indexes.
