Annual Global Sources Electronics Design Awards names 30 Greater China company finalists as offering Asia's most innovative products
Electronics industry experts ready to select winners in seven categories: CCTV products, digital photo frames, GPS, in-car entertainment, mobile phones, portable media players and portable PCS HONG KONG, September 15, 2009 – Judges have selected 30 products as finalists for Global Sources' (NASDAQ: GSOL) Third Annual Electronics Design Awards (http://www.globalsources.com/elecawards), which aim to highlight Asia's most innovative electronics.
Winning products will be unveiled at the Design Awards Gallery at the China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components to be held Oct. 12-15 at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. Global Sources' President of Asian Sales, Spenser Au, said: "These awards are widely seen as a precursor to export success in Asia's electronics industry. "Products selected already have excellent market prospects, because they stand out in terms of design and innovation. However, the Awards provide an added marketing push, since they are featured front and center at the China Sourcing Fairs visited by tens of thousands of top international buyers. "We are proud to organize this event, now in its third year, as we feel it both highlights and encourages innovation among Asia's manufacturers." Judges will select winners across seven categories.
