Global Electronics Giants to Meet in Chengdu Next Month

An annual events bringing together top companies in the electronics industry will inaugurate in Chengdu next month. Yesterday, the leading global media company, Nasdaq-listed Global Sources signed a co-operation agreement with Chengdu High-tech Zone for the 13th International IC-China Conference & Exhibition (IIC-China). This is the first IIC-China in Chengdu. The exhibition is scheduled to open at the Century City New International Convention & Exposition Center on February 28. After that, three more legs in Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai respectively will follow. IIC-China is China's largest IC and semiconductor design event, and the scale of this year's show will be the largest ever. More than 400 leading technology suppliers will participate with nearly 1,300 booths and the number of the engineers estimated to visit the show will reach 30,000. Eight of the world's top ten semiconductor companies including Intel, Freescale Semiconductor, NXP Semiconductors, Renesas Technology, Samsung, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and Toshiba are scheduled to exhibit. |
