Global Sources' China Sourcing Fairs
HONG KONG, May 18, 2007 Seventy-nine China Sourcing Fair exhibitors participated in Global Sources' (NASDAQ: GSOL) Care & Share charity program, donating three truckloads of trade show display samples to people in need. The display samples were donated by exhibitors following Global Sources' China Sourcing Fairs, April 12-15 and 20-23 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. Non-profit Crossroads International will distribute the items to people affected by disaster, conflict and poverty around the world. Donated samples include toys, stationery, housewares, furniture and playground equipment. Global Sources Chairman and CEO, Merle A. Hinrichs, said: "This is the third time we've organized the Care & Share charity program and it continues to grow. This April, even more China Sourcing Fair exhibitors opened their hearts to people less fortunate." Director of Crossroads International, Sally Begbie, said: "These items will have an important impact on the communities and people we serve. We're always very appreciative of the generosity of China Sourcing Fair exhibitors." Lists of participating donors are available at:
