Asia's largest specialized fashion accessories fair – China Sourcing Fair: Fashion Accessories will be held on October 11-14 at AsiaWorld-Expo.

Global Sources' Director Sarah Benecke pointed out that the show will be held before the first phrase of Canton Fair, thus taking the time advantage. The event is set to feature over 750 booths, up 50 percent from its April debut at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Expo. The show will be expanded to 2 halls. At present, about 8,000 buyers already pre-registered to visit the show.

Due to the high market demand for underwear & swimwear, the show will add a new Underwear & Swimwear Pavilion. Mainland China exports of world's 70% of swimwear thus this is a huge market.

Tommy Wong, General Manager of China Sourcing Fair – Sales mentioned that in the first seven months of 2006 – up 80 percent from the same period in 2005. Also, Asia's swimwear exports to the US and the EU have skyrocketed. In 2005, US imports of China-made swimwear hit US$79 million, up by 500 percent over 2004. Due the huge overseas demand, Global Sources decided to add this pavilion so that buyers could source more effectively.
