Asia as the manufacturing base for fashion accessories products will attract more buyers to source from Asia. Global Sources believed that Hong Kong, with good transport infrastructure and established position as trade center, will become the sourcing center for fashion accessories products.

Tommy Wong, General Manager of China Sourcing Fair – Sales mentioned that fashion accessories products were produced mainly in Europe and US in the past. But now production base has shifted to China and other Asian countries. As there is very few fashion accessories show in the region, plus other Asian countries still yet to be developed as sourcing centre, Hong Kong will most likely to become the sourcing center for fashion accessories products.

lthough Canton Fair also features similar products, Tommy commented that China trade shows usually use low price to attract buyers. On the contrary, those exhibited at HK shows have better quality and design, therefore should be able to attract big buyers to attend.
