Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

• Relationship Development:
  • Determines appropriate government bodies in charge of exhibition promotions/trade relations in the respective cities/provinces where IIC is hosted/future hosted
  • Builds appropriate relations with local government bodies and associations of engineers for their participation in the event, as well to encourage potential local exhibitors' participation
  • Assists in developing sales channels and determine appropriate sales follow-up
  • Builds appropriate relations with potential exhibitor components/semiconductor associations
• Relationship Exploration:
  • Assists management for plotting vision and strategies in developing IIC, extending to future areas
  • Identifies and secure potential sales agents, trade associations and government bodies
  • Identifies opportunities/potential relationships outside of existing IIC venues, where business opportunities may be pursued (i.e. India) and makes recommendations to Management
• Others:
  • Follows up on execution of eDMs/PrintDMs, online registration, specialized micro site locations
  • Maintains legal, sales, commission and administration records for all IIC partners
  • Provides onsite Event Service for both visitor and exhibitor
  • Makes reports to keep management informed the progress

Requirements:

Content Quality Supervisor
Content Quality Supervisor will assist the Content Manager in ensuring the high quality of advertising information on Global Sources media. Candidate will lead content quality team in day-to-day tasks and long-term projects, and provide support and feedback to client service center team members.

Responsibilities:

• Determine and enforce in-house style and guidelines for all print and online advertising content, making enhancements when needed
• Approve print ad layouts and company/products videos before production or uploading
• Provide regular training to and evaluation of online and print production team members'
• Supervise content quality programs, manage vendor profile form quality control project and monitor progress

Qualified candidate must be a college-degree holder with at least 2 years related working experience in management, basic understanding of sourcing industry and products communications position including events organizing. He/she must be native-level English speaker; Mandarin is a plus.

Market Specialist (Spanish/Portuguese Speaking)
The Market Specialist (Spanish/Portuguese Speaking) will recruit big buyers in Latin America market to the e-sourcing program and produce Global Sources related marketing in Portuguese/Spanish language. He/she will minimize/eliminate time and high cost in working with 3rd party translators.

Candidate must be a college degree holder with one-year experience in advertisement sales, marketing or relevant industries. He/she should have good communications skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese both oral and written. Candidate must self-motivated, can work under pressure and detail-oriented.

Senior Web Designer
Senior Web Designer will manage multiple design projects efficiently under pressure and within deadline. He/she will develop, evaluate and implement new initiatives with all stakeholders to improve the usability of Global Sources family sites. Candidate will understand and balance the importance of both user experience and business goals.

Qualified candidate must be a college-degree holder in web, multimedia, graphic design or any field related. He/she should have at least 2 years experience in a multimedia company with business related websites desirable. He/she should have good command of English, both oral and written. MS Office skill is required.

Training Support Supervisor
The Training Support Supervisor will supervise and provide training assistance to the Training Officers. He/she will organize and execute training/seminars for clients on enhancements and other related initiatives of the company as well as handling client’s inquiries. Candidate will prepare internal and external training materials, translation and proofreading support.
