Administrative Assistant

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Handle daily administrative tasks which include invoice processing, expenditure monitoring, travel arrangement, attendance and leave record taking.
  • Assist the travel team to prepare travel-related materials, hotel rooming list, compile reports and data input
  • Prepare materials for on-site usage for the company shows
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisors

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above with at least 1 year’s working experience

(Senior) Business Analyst

Overview:

This position is an integral part of the Market Intelligence team to gather market and industry intelligence by conducting qualitative and quantitative research projects in order to provide valuable insights to drive organic and inorganic growth of the company’s trade show business.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and process raw/clean data for our regular management trade show reports which provide insights and performance tracking for cross-departmental usage
  • Help to derive trade show marketing metrics analysis for evaluating marketing campaign effectiveness. Draw insights and give recommendations for future campaign ROI improvements.
  • Manage research systems and databases, develop data processing protocol to ensure quality of system deliverables.
  • Implement statistical quality control process and checking, report automation, to ensure quality of report deliverables.
  • Support ad-hoc consumer research project management (mostly done with our online research panel), conducting advanced statistical modelling to provide additional insights to research findings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science or any related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years working experience in data consolidation and manipulation. More experienced candidate can be considered as senior business analyst.
  • Strong in VB language in building macros for report automation is a must.
  • Proficient with the use of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, Access, Advanced Excel) to transform data to insightful research reports. Knowledge with data visualization tools is advantageous.
  • Good knowledge in quantitative research with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong sense of accountability and attention to details.
  • Strong coordination/collaboration skills necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal command of English and Chinese languages.

Event Operations Manager

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Tendering, negotiation and appointment of official stand-fitting contractor for all GS trade shows (including HK, PRC and ROW regions)
  • Tendering, negotiation and appointment of official freight forwarder for all GS trade shows (including HK, PRC and ROW regions)
  • Budgeting / cost control on event production cost for GS trade shows
  • Monitoring and control the onsite operations schedule
  • Monitoring the pre-show / on-site performances of the official contractors and official freight forwarders.
  • Coordinate with contractors and hall management on general venue décor and special onsite events / activities (jobs included prepare briefing document, obtaining design proposal, work with design team on graphic design, present to management / project team for approval, arranging graphic output, monitoring production schedule, onsite supervision of construction works, budget control…etc)
  • Liaison with Exhibition Venue
  • Monitor and maintenance of the technical floor plans for GS trade shows
  • Raw space booth designs review and approval.
  • Providing on-site operations support / management during the event.
  • Managing / supervision of subordinate
  • Occasional travel to PRC and overseas countries as required

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with 6 years or above working experience in exhibition or relating to event management (with min. 2 years supervisory / managerial experience)
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Independent, detail-minded, self-motivated and good communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office application (knowledge in AI, CorelDraw, AutoCAD – added advantage)

Marketing Executive
Objectives and Scope:

  • Prepare mailing lists for all marketing promotions
  • Maintain data in Trade Show Visitor Database
Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Prepare mailing lists for all marketing promotions – eDM, PDM, Telemarketing, SMS.
  • Handle all change of information requests received from visitors. Update visitor database and ensure all data is up-to-date.

Marketing Supervisor

Scope & Objectives:

Promote GSE events and services in order to attract visitors to attend our shows through activities and tasks as assigned by immediate Asst Marketing Manager or Head, Visitor Marketing. Obtain and reply to feedback from visitors to improve our services.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Asst Marketing Manager with visitor services and promotion for the GSE events particularly in direct mail management, partner liaison, onsite registration & any onsite buyer activities.
  • Responsible for a full range of marketing activities including sourcing, quotation, agreement, order follow up, execution and analysis of results.
  • Liaise with partners, service providers and internal departments to execute various promotion campaigns to attract visitors to GSE events and to provide positive visitor experience.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for promotion materials printing and broadcasting including print DM.
  • Supervise and manage projects by the visitor services team.
  • Attend GSE events and provide excellent services and support during the events.
  • Compile feedbacks from visitors and reflect special requirements to management.

Experience:

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration or other related discipline.

Sr. Business Analyst

Scope & Objectives:

To assist the department head in monitoring/analyzing financial and sales performance. Identify sales process improvement and drive projects for supporting sales operations in the team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist business unit heads in its production of regular financial forecasting and analyses, financial projection, budget, business plan and financial information for management.
