Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. To generate sales revenue for the Company by selling exhibition booths and related products of our trade fairs, as well as online services to prospective clients within target area(s).
  2. To introduce our Company’s products and services (Trade shows and online services) in a professional manner.
  3. To handle clients’ enquiries and to provide appropriate value-added services.

Requirements:

  • F.7 or above with good command of spoken Chinese and English
  • At least 2 years’ solid experience in sales and marketing

Job Objective & Scope:

The successful candidate will work closely with Assistant Event Manger to develop and manage wide range of professional conferences covering the latest trends in the industry at Global Sources trade shows.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research on industry hot topics and keep up to date with industry trends to help in developing attractive conference programs.
  • Assist in identifying and inviting appropriate conference speakers.
  • Provide friendly support service for speakers pre-show, onsite and post-show, to maintain good relationships with speakers.
  • Collect and consolidate all required materials from speakers for preparing conference promotion.

Job Objective & Scope:

Provide professional services to visitors. Obtain comments from visitors for improving our visitor services. Help promoting Global Sources Exhibitions (GSE) events and products in order to attract visitors to attend and see our shows.

(Senior) Business Analyst

Overview:

This position is an integral part of the Market Intelligence team to gather market and industry intelligence by conducting qualitative and quantitative research projects in order to provide valuable insights to drive organic and inorganic growth of the company’s trade show business.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and process raw/clean data for our regular management trade show reports which provide insights and performance tracking for cross-departmental usage
  • Help to derive trade show marketing metrics analysis for evaluating marketing campaign effectiveness. Draw insights and give recommendations for future campaign ROI improvements.
  • Manage research systems and databases, develop data processing protocol to ensure quality of system deliverables.
  • Implement statistical quality control process and checking, report automation, to ensure quality of report deliverables.
  • Support ad-hoc consumer research project management (mostly done with our online research panel), conducting advanced statistical modelling to provide additional insights to research findings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science or any related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years working experience in data consolidation and manipulation. More experienced candidate can be considered as senior business analyst.
  • Strong in VB language in building macros for report automation is a must.
